Come cheer on Pack 728 and celebrate Independence Day with Scout spirit at FourthFest, July 4 at Katherine Fleischer Park at 10 am!
Medical forms are required for all individuals attending the campout — including Scouts, parents, siblings, relatives, and guests. This ensures we can provide a safe and prepared environment for everyone.
For details and access to the forms, please visit our Medical Forms page.
Pack 728 will provide all necessary cooking gear and meals for the campout, including Saturday lunch and dinner for all attendees, and Sunday breakfast for those staying overnight. Coolers of water will be available for refilling canteens or thermos bottles. Please bring your own reusable dishes and utensils, as the pack no longer supplies disposable items in an effort to reduce waste. Let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.
These Cub Scout Six Essentials may seem small, but together they make a big difference. They’ll help you be prepared to take care of yourself, stay safe and enjoy your outdoor adventures.
First-Aid Kit: Even the best Scouts get scrapes or bug bites. A first-aid kit has bandages, wipes and other supplies to treat small injuries. Check out how you can build your own first-aid kit.
Filled Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is super important when you’re active. Always carry a full water bottle so you can take sips along the way and keep your energy up.
Flashlight: You should be prepared for darkness — even on a day hike. A flashlight helps you see in the dark and can be used to signal for help if you get lost. Check the batteries before you pack it!
Trail food: Hiking can make you hungry! Trail food gives you the energy to keep going. Pack snacks like granola bars, trail mix or fruit snacks. They’re easy to carry, won’t spoil and give you the energy you need.
Sun protection: The sun can be strong even on cloudy days. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses or a hat to protect your skin and eyes from the sun’s rays.
Whistle: A whistle is a small tool that can make a big noise. If you ever get lost or need help, blow three short blasts. It’s the signal for “I need help!” But remember, don’t blow a whistle just for fun.
This is the gear you'll need for our upcoming campout. If you’re missing any items or aren’t fully equipped to camp, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re happy to help you find gear to borrow so everyone can join the fun!
